The Calgary Tower has a task that will keep kids occupied for at least an hour or two on a rainy day.
Kids are being asked to build their own replica of the landmark and submit a photo.
The challenge asks people to use household materials (hint: paper towel tubes) or Lego.
Submit photos of your completed creation on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #mycalgarytower. Everyone who submits will be entered in a draw for one of three family passes to the tower, once it reopens.
The deadline for entries is May 31.
On Monday, May 11, eligible Canadians will be able to go online, once again, as the third eligibility period for the $2,000 monthly Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) begins. This four-week period runs from May 10 through June 6, 2020. To date, the Canada Revenue Agency has received more than 11 million applications for the CERB from 7.6 million unique applicants, and paid out nearly $30 billion in benefits.
